Welcome to MycoHub, operated by MycoHub LLC, an Ohio-based company. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of MycoHub, including its community, content, vendor, review, messaging, and related features. By accessing or using MycoHub, you agree to these Terms and to the policies that apply to your use of the platform.
MycoHub is an educational and community platform for discussion, sharing, documentation, research, news, identification, cultivation, networking, and other topics related to mycology. MycoHub may also provide vendor profiles, reviews, promotional features, and links related to lawful goods and services.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, and legally permitted to use the platform. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and for activity performed through your account.
You are responsible for your content, communications, transactions, and actions on or through MycoHub. You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and other laws that apply to you. Laws differ by jurisdiction, and each user is responsible for determining what is lawful where they live or conduct business.
You may not use MycoHub to:
Educational, scientific, journalistic, historical, policy, harm-reduction, or general mycology discussion is not prohibited merely because it concerns a regulated species, substance, or subject. Context and whether the content facilitates unlawful conduct matter.
MycoHub does not facilitate the sale, trade, distribution, solicitation, or transaction of any illegal substances or materials, or any other illegal goods or services.
Lawful vendor promotion, vendor profiles, listings, links, and transactions that comply with applicable law and MycoHub policies are not prohibited by this section. MycoHub does not become a party to a transaction merely because users or vendors connected through the platform.
Vendors are responsible for the legality and accuracy of their products, services, descriptions, pricing, availability, shipping, refunds, and other representations. Users are responsible for evaluating vendors and transaction terms before making a purchase or other commitment.
Verified Vendor or Featured Vendor status does not guarantee product quality, safety, shipping performance, customer service, or future conduct. Verification is intended to help establish vendor or business legitimacy and is not a blanket endorsement by MycoHub.
Reviews, ratings, comments, and other community feedback reflect the experiences and opinions of individual users. MycoHub does not guarantee that a review is accurate or that another user will have the same experience. Reviews may be moderated when they violate MycoHub policy, but a review will not be removed solely because it is negative.
You retain ownership of content you create and submit to MycoHub. By posting content, you grant MycoHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate and provide the platform, subject to applicable privacy settings and law.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content you post and that your content does not violate another person's rights.
The MycoHub Community Rules, Content Policy, and any applicable Vendor Rules are incorporated into these Terms. Group-specific rules may also apply within individual groups.
MycoHub may remove content, limit features, remove vendor privileges, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the platform, respond to legal obligations, or address abuse. Severe violations may result in immediate action.
Access to certain features may require a paid subscription or other payment. Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. Pricing, billing terms, cancellation options, and any applicable refund terms will be presented with the relevant purchase or subscription.
MycoHub content is provided for educational, informational, and community purposes. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or other professional advice. Mushroom identification, cultivation, foraging, supplements, and other mycology-related subjects can involve risk, and users are responsible for exercising appropriate judgment and seeking qualified guidance when needed.
MycoHub does not endorse or promote illegal activity.
MycoHub may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, vendors, payment processors, or services. MycoHub does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, policies, availability, products, or conduct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MycoHub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. MycoHub does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of all user-generated content, or any particular result from use of the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MycoHub LLC is not responsible for losses arising from user-generated content, user or vendor conduct, third-party transactions or services, or decisions made based on information shared on the platform, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
MycoHub may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may require you to review and accept a new version before continuing to use member-only features. The version and effective date shown above identify the Terms currently in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.
